Our Self Build Conservatory Project

We are David and Allison and we decided it a good idea to build our own Victorian style conservatory, after lots of research we decide to go for a high quality building:
  • µPVC aluminium structure
  • 28mm double glazing
  • 35mm multi wall polycarbonate roof

All the drainage services that run under the conservatory site mean a steel base is the best option rather than digging footings and bridging all those pipes.  To get the optimum use of the space available we decided a bespoke size would be better than an "off the shelf" size. We ordered everything from ROC Wales who manufacture the steel base and dwarf wall, they sourced the actual conservatory from Centurion DIY Conservatories.

These web pages are a diary of the project, when we have remembered we have taken pictures to illustrate progress.
